A Paw Paw man is waiting arraignment on several charges after the Van Buren County Sheriffs Department says it caught him drunk driving twice in two days this month. A sheriffs deputy pulled over the 19 year old on the night of June 12th when he failed to stop for a stop sign. He was found to be intoxicated and in possession of both alcohol and marijuana. Turned out the man had just been released two days prior for another drunk driving arrest, following a previous drunk driving conviction in 2014. The man was found to also have no insurance and no license. He’s facing a total of five charges, one of them for second offense operating while intoxicated. Two passengers in the vehicle — a 20 year old and a 17 year old both from Paw Paw — are also facing charges. The 20 year old is charged with possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle and being a minor in possession, and the 17 year old is charged with violating his probation.
