Niles PD Holding Women's Self Defense Class; Next Class In August

Self defense classes for women will be held by the Niles Police Department in August following how quickly the courses starting this week filled up. Officer Julie Sisk is one of the instructors in the RAD program, which has had a strong following through the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department as well. Sisk tells WNDU NewsCenter 16 that the four-day course isn’t expensive for people to join.

The next classes will start August 3. The first day will focus on classroom learning, and advance beyond that to physical training. More information is available by calling the Niles Police Department.
